Highland(Rise), Kodak Theatre, DJ Flash Gee Saturday August 7, 2010 This Wednesday I’ll working on my first post production credit event called: Veteran Days: LAFS and the Veterans' Guild are holding a Salute to Veterans for next Wednesday, August 4, at 7 PM in the B1 Theater. Andrew Coles, who is producing the event, is asking for some sound people to help out. They need three or four, as far as I can tell. The Salute inside the B1 will be shot by 2 Red cameras. Greg Filkins will set up a PA with hand-mikes, and whoever does sound will take a line feed from the PA system, run it to a small mixer, and from the mixer a) feed a recorder, presumably a 744 T (for time code), and b) send a feed to each of the Red Cameras as a sync reference. That sound person will either burn a DVD or else load its data into the computer editing the event. This should take 2 sound people, one to run the mixer and the other to make sure the cables are run properly , perhaps, help Greg with the mikes. In addition there will be 2 DSLR crews doing interviews and B roll in the lobby. Each of these crews should have one sound person, ENG style, with a mixer, a boom mike, and a recorder that could be either a Zoom H4N or a SD 744 T. In other words, each sound person would work with the DSLR operator, booming interviews and other wise shooting B roll. Each of these sound people would, after the shoot, either burn a DVD or else load sound from the recorder into the computer that is editing that camera's picture. Everyone who participates will receive valuable experience, Sound Guild credit, an opportunity to be noticed for your work and the value of participating in a worthwhile event Recently I’ve been in contract talks with Promoter by the name of Nataniel Chiko Thomas, Fabolous Nights Entertainments. Chiko hustle & knowledge of Entertainment industry like that of no other. I’m pleased to say I know ofhim. He drives me in ways I never been driven before. Hollywood tuff park to play in! Chiko has hired me to open up at Highland Club in Hollywood this Saturday. The crowd last week was around the corner of Hollywood & Highland. Looking forward to showing my talent to new audience.
